In 2014 Scott won the Pro Mazda Rookie of the Year title and placed second in the Pro Mazda Championship, driving the #3 Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing Pro Mazda car to three Pole Positions, four Fastest Laps, three Wins and ten Podiums (more than any other driver in the series). Doubling up on his driving duties this season, Scott was selected by the OpenRoad Racing Team to drive their entry in the IMSA Porsche GT3 Cup Canada series, winning the Championship in his rookie year with 6 wins and 4 second place finishes. Scott was also selected as an ambassador for Team Canada Motorsports.

In 2013 Scott clinched the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship title during the final race weekend at the IndyCar Grand Prix of Houston. Driving for Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing, Scott led the championship throughout the entire 14 race season by capturing four wins, nine podiums, five fastest race laps and six pole positions, setting 4 lap records along the way.

Scott was also one of two drivers selected by the Team Canada Scholarship to represent Canada at the prestigious 2013 British Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch racetrack in England where Scott finished in 4th place out of 57 entries, the highest placing North American driver at the event, and the highest placing Canadian driver in the history of the British Formula Ford Festival!

In addition to his busy racing schedule, Scott often visits Children’s Hospitals in the cities Scott travel to. Scott is also committed to promoting safe driving for teens, producing safe driving videos and making personal appearances to highlight the dangers of texting while driving, discouraging street racing, or mixing alcohol or drugs with driving.
